Note: Nuovo Pignone was acquired and merged by SMIT in the late 1990s (forming Smit Nuovo Pignone), and subsequently became part of the Itema Group when SMIT was acquired. All "Nuovo Pignone" machines currently available on the market are used/pre-owned equipment. The technological DNA of these machines has been incorporated into modern Itema rapier looms such as the R9500 and subsequent series.
