Throughout its history, Nuovo Pignone manufactured several series of rapier looms, with production from the 1970s through the late 1990s primarily encompassing the TP series, the TPS series (terry towel looms), and the FAST series. The company later entered into a close partnership with SMIT, merging to form Smit Nuovo Pignone, before ultimately being integrated into the Itema Group.
